I have a strong gas smell in my garage. I have looked the bike over good and do not se a leak anywhere. Anyone have any idea what might be the problem? Also, it seems like sometimes I can smell gas fumes while riding....

Possibly the seal around the gas cap. Some have had success removing the seal in the cap and adding a thin layer of gasket material and replacing the seal. Hope this helps.

I got rid of the gas leakage on my '01 by replacing the intake O rings

I had a same problem earlier this year and found that the gas cap seal (unknown reason) was the culprit. I got a thin 2 1/8" O ring that i cut and then slid under the seal using a dentist pick. Smell is gone. Good luck.

I had the same thing happen. Very strong fuel smell. Gas cap seal. Just fix it or buy a new one.

I've had a bad gas smell in my garage when I park both my Valkyries there.
My wife found the problem. She told me to walk out of the garage when I'm about to pass gas.
Problem solved!
