this last summer i went to Maggie Valley NC and had the ride of my life!!  there are literally thousands of miles of twisites down there!!  i thought i'd start a thread were EVERYONE who's riden the infomus "DRAGON" or the "SMOKEY MOUNTAIN PARKWAY" could post pictures!!

i'll start!

here's me, on my gal-val.

me with TurnBoy John (before)

me (during)

John and I again (after)

just some of the tunnels

Maggie herself (alright, i know she's not pretty, but she's on a VALK!!)

My favorite riding buddy NITRO, that had to ruin his life by knocking up his wife, then getting a job!!

Alright, your turn!!  Lets see some pictures before “you know what” happens!!!

My trip there on the Valk back in 2003:

And my detour on the family vacation back in 2010 in the car. (Hey, mighta been in a car, but I didn't hold up any bikes, in fact, I caught up to a group of bikes and THEY held ME back, and I made my mother in law throw up in the back seat from my aggressive driving through the Dragon... Smiley )

her and my sister-in-law were talking one day, and she mentioned how she likes to "spoon" with her husband in bed.  i said that her daughter and i just like to "fork"  Wink  that one got her good!!

Ride it at least yearly, nice road, but better ones around there, Devils Triangle etc.

1981 CBX, got it with only 6900 miles on it. Now has close to 18,000 including a 5-day 2300 mile solo roadtrip - back to the Smokies again! This pic doesn't do justice - we got caught in a thunderstorm in Maggie Valley the day before and it was filthy. It really shines when washed. Major league fun to ride - about the same hp/tq numbers as the Valk, but vastly different character. 9500 rpm redline, even with stock exhaust it sounds like a pissed off F1 car when you wind it tight!

Those Illinois plates on Turnboy's ride? Plus it appears to be the very rare Black & Pearl Biege color combo!
