Our Motomama has been admitted to the Olathe Medical Center this afternoon for treatment of pneumonia. She wasn’t feeling well last week so she went to the Doctor yesterday and was diagnosed. Wasn’t better today and went back to the Dr. He then admitted her to the hospital. I just spoke to her and she sounded pretty worn out. She’s getting medication and IVs; hopefully some much needed rest.  She’s hoping to get out on Thursday.

She’s the one who’s there for all of us in our times of need, so what do you say we shout out to her and let her we’re all thinking about her at this time.

I love you girl! Wish I was closed enough to come sit with you  Sad

Lori,
Hope you're getting some good rest and you're feeling some better tonight. I also wanted to bring this back to the top.
HUGS!

It was me Carolyn with the HUGS! I was posting on Pat's sign on again!

Lori, Lori, what's the story? Pneumococcus in all its glory?

This was one of the things that you were supposed to NOT be good at.

But NO, you just have to do EVERYTHING well.

So you'll just need to rest, take your medicine, and heal.

Nurse Carl, Candy Striper Willow (auto-correct wants to put Stripper here) Who knows, that just might help with the healing...

Take care, Lori, and thanks, Carolyn, for the news.

Thank you for the prayers, thoughts of encouragement and well wishes.  I am coming along, and slowly improving.  The doctor added a couple of more meds to the mix this morning, so if all goes well, I should be going home some time tomorrow.  Now if I can only get my O2SAT up, as it is still running a little low.  Again, thanks for thinking of me and praying for me, my friends!  cooldude
