Whatever you do, do NOT google "genital splitting".

I have no idea what a GW looks like under all the plastic. Dunno, once all said and done, the GW might look better! The GW really isn't supposed to be seen nekkid... She's a lot better looking with her tupperware on!

I don't think the wing is all that bad looking naked EXCEPT for those radiators. That complicates things mightily.

Naturally, we won't. Thanks for the warning. But if, by some chance, we did - hey; I've been doing that with my stock seat, slowly but surely. Perfect gift for the Gemini types. Twins.

That naked Wing is scary. Think I'll just continue with my current project: . . . . . .

I have watched this thread for awhile now and have even offered my opinion but something kept bugging me. The questin being asked is based upon the assumption that Honda COULD NOT build another Valkyrie when in fact Honda CHOSE NOT to build another Valkyrie. There is a difference.

The Queen-sized rear seat appears to be a Wing selling point. Some Valkyries get a big back seat, but the latest Wing is like a chair.
The Gold Wing club around here appears to be a mostly "couples" organization, and a lot of wife-passengers probably appreciate that seat. Our '03 valkyrie seat is miniature in comparison.
I know my wife referred to the passenger seat on my '98 Standard as a "slightly padded 2X4" and is much happier with my Ultimates. She believes getting the armrests wouldn't be a bad idea. In her defense, she has tendon issues in her arms and had to have one reattached.

My view on it is that Honda is trying to sell to the younger riders. Valks and Wings tend to go towards the older crowd. That demographic is already taken with the stated bikes. Honda wants the 'to old for crotch rocket but not old enough for a wing' crowd. What better appeal to a younger crowd then a street cruiser. I was lucky to get a Valk at the age of 24.

This question has been asked at least 10 different times.
Go to Inzane and look who is there, OLD FART BIG WHITE GUYS.
At best we have 5-10 years of riding left. You dont develop and market a product that is going to die in short order.
Jiminy Christmas get over it. You are not pushing the market unless your are talking about adult diapers and nursing homes.
Ride fast...........they are not coming back.

You are a constant and perpetual downer...
