My feelings exactly.  When it gets cold enough, I'll put up the leathers and break out the snowmobile suit.

I hope I can get some Fridays off this winter to ride with The Wild Bunch this year!  I had a blast riding with the gang most Fridays last winter.  Good times for sure!

I agree, good riding weather just around the corner!!  WHOO-HOO!!!

I'm glad when a Norther blows in and it only gets to around 85-90 (as opposed to 105-107) and dry air.
I maybe put 300 miles on my bike this whole Summer.

Days getting shorter and daylight savings will change in about a month, will get dark real early.  Only on the W/Es I'll see my house in the daylight.

But, gotta enjoy it when you can!

Dang. Every time I see an ice-sickle photo-op, it seems like you'd have to stop in the middle of
a mountain twistie to take the picture.. so here's a frozen lake  Smiley

I was just down the road from Bridal Veil falls, but didn't know it at the time... I bet that
would have made a good winter picture that day...

Here are some pics from a ride Mo and I made in March of 2009......this was Hwy 180....aka Wolf Pen Gap road coming from the Hwy 129 direction....we almost made it to the top and pulled off at this overlook.....Mo was VERY nervous about going on up the mtn., so I told him we would turn around......even though I thought it would be just as dangerous going back down the mtn.....there was loose gravel/sand in a lot of the curves, but my Fat Girl was steady as a rock.....that Yammerhammer he was on was slipping and sliding a lot......it took us almost half the way home before he was calmed back down.....there was a lot of snow on the sides of the road.....oh well, March in Georgia after a snow storm.... Cheesy

Any day that you ride is a good day!

On those winter days when the weather gives us a little break

It is nice to get out and ride, you do have to be ready for the occaisional detour though

You do tend to get things all to yourself, on this day I spent over an hour walking around the mill and didn't see anyone else there
