Short Ride to Clear My Mind

 Wanted to get out to run some fuel through the engine.  Getting cooler in the desert.  

Here I am up into mtns about 10 - 15 minutes from where I live on desert floor.  You can almost see where I live at the red arrow.   Lots of motorcycles out riding around today.



Vista point where I stopped for a while.  4 - 5 Harleys parked there.  All friendly.  One of them asked me if the Valk was an 8 cylinder (How many cylinders do you see there?).  Also 3 exhaust pipes on each side.   I said yes and rode off.  



  Only about 50 miles, but got back and felt a lot better.

Looks like a beautiful ride.  I had an overtime job on Saturday that's not part of my current projects and a bit farther out of town. Still a 70 mile round trip that was worth the time spent.  I enjoy seeing others doing the same.

Did the same yesterday Doc I rode up to Salem an got a side road to Silverton .Got something to eat for lunch an highballed it home at about 85mph for an hour an half .had a blast.Covered about 250 miles.Have to get all I can while I can up here in Or. before the rain starts.Hoping to get down to ca. for part of the winter ,I'll let you know.Art
