Had an annual event in the city park called Frog Fest yesterday. They had a booth set up where you could throw a pie in a Cops face for 5 dollars. Being a crafty old fella donated 5 dollars and declined the pie and quickly informed them that I wasn't stupid enough to throw a pie in a Cops face since I sometimes have trouble with throttle control.

I doubt that is a get of jail free card but it has to gain more points than a pie in the face. Udo I know what you mean because I spent a total of over ten years in your Country during my Army career. I must say I loved every minute I was there, two things that stood out were the Autobahn and how clean Germany is kept (no litter). Matter of fact my Son and his family are there now.

I hope, they have a good time here..

What always make me wonder, is how many flat tires y´all have, in the USA. Too much nails and screws on the road, i guess......

Udo what area is Krefeld located? I've traveled all over Germany and can't seem to recall your town. I was stationed in Manheim, Bamberg, and Pirmasens during my years there.

Krefeld is a bit more in the North. The next bigger town is Duesseldorf ~25 mls. away. You have been in the south part of Germany, which is nicer, imho.
