Hey all,  I'm back after a long hiatous.  I'm getting my first Valkyrie this weekend, Yup just in time for winter  Undecided  It's a '98 w/ 65,000 miles on her, two tone red & ivory w/ lotsa extra's......Great price that's why I'm taking the plunge right at he beginning of the off riding season.  Gonna be hard to wait it out 'till Spring.

I'm looking for two things maybe you guys in the area ( Chester County , Pa. )could help me out with.  First I need to find a good garage space big enough for the bike near Malvern, Pa  & 2.) Can any of the local riders who farm out the work on their bikes tell me of a good service mechanic I can get some basic tune up work on the Valk done with.  The bike has been sitting for a year.

Seller is meeting me at the Honda dealer that's getting it charged up & gas changed so I can ride before I buy.........

Thanx Guys,

Welcome Back!  Alas, I am from South TEXAS where we ride year round, so don't know about putting them away for the winter.
BUT, we ride in the "furnace" during the summer so we can ride in the fall and spring.

Welcome to the asylum...  Smiley

welcome...from South Jersey.

There aren't any local Honda dealers that I could recommend.  There are a few of us local that can give advice and a helping hand if you run into trouble.  Get a copy of the Honda service manual and you will be able to do any routine maintenance.  These bikes are easy to work on.  You'll save a lot of money DIY and it will be done right.

Watch yourself in Chester....bad area!!!

Welcome aboard!

My wife hails from right around your neck of the woods - Springfield, PA. There's some real nice roads and scenery up north of y'all. I love riding PA back roads, but they can be dangerous at this time of year with all the leaves collecting in the corners and such.

Drive safe and enjoy the hell outta your Valk!!
