And what an awesome ride it was. The leaves just changed colors and were still mostly on the trees. A little nippy early in the morning but otherwise perfect. Made it up the blue Ridge Parkway as far as Blowing Rock NC. Turned back for a number of reasons not the least of which was rain in the forecast to the north. But still a truly awesome ride. The Valk performed perfectly and was a joy to ride.

Yeah, the Valk handles the mountains great, even at 10,000' to 12,000'. 

Great photo!  Our winter storm on Weds just defoliated our beautiful fall leaves.
