Nearly had a bad wreck yesterday.

It all happened so quickly.  



Riding along at a tad over the posted speed limit. My immediate surroundings were quiet and luckily traffic free.



My frozen bottle of water popped out of it's holder and fell to the ground below me.  



As my rear wheel hit the frozen bottle it got jammed between the tire and ground.  



Reflexes caused me to stand up and move my weight forward.  



After skidding for a couple of feet the wheel hopped over the bottle and traction was regained.  



Riding a bicycle on the Greenway is hazardous

had a buddy that dang near kilt himself on a bycyle decades ago. got cut off popped over a curb and hit a sign post with his head.

helmet? nah he was too hard headed. I had to cover part of his shift at work, he showed up looking like he had a turban on + two black eyes

It was a good day,...you didn't wreck. Just try to imagine if you did have an accident!
Even if you were on a bicycle.

Don't know if your religious, but I believe God works in strange ways.
