The Kawasaki 750 is a screaming purple-eyed monster whose only god is performance.
Lay at its feet any other production vehicle, two wheeled or four, and the 750 will
chuckle, snort and eat them alive...

I don't remember too many quotes from early 70's motorcycle magazines, but I
seem to remember that one...

A purple one with Bassani expansion chambers used to wheelie by the
gas station I hung out at in the afternoons...

When you look at one today, they seem tiny, with suspension not fit for a
bicycle...

1978, I was cruzing across Arizona on my way to San Diego for Navy transfer.
There was a big cloud and I didnt wanna breathe alot of that so I rolled the 71 750 Honda and blew by him ata  mighty pace. Shortly there after I hear screaming whine and he blew by me at a mo'mighty pace. I was still crackin 85 or better and my bug catcher fell wide open.
He pulled over about 5 miles ahead ans we laughed a bit at each other. Great day.
 I've wanted one since then.
