I really like this sissy bar, but of course it wont just bolt up.

http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/765/Raptor-Bar

Our spacing on the sissy bar mounts is about 9.25 inches and mounting holes are 2 inches center to center.  This sissy bar is 8 3/4 inches and the mounting holes are 1 1/4 inches center to center.
Any suggestions on how to get this to work or any fabricators out there want to make me some spacers or whatever it takes to get this to fit?  I didnt buy it yet, waiting to hear what you guys tell me.

Dog, no big deal. Go to Ace Hardware and get some 1/4" chrome spacers with the center hole just large enough for the mounting bolts. As for the mounting holes, decide which ones you want to line up...the bottom ones would be my choice. Insert the bolt to hold the sissy bar in place, then mark the top one on the sissy bar and drill it. By using the bottom one, you won't have an extra hole showing above the sissy bar mounting bracket. As for the spacers, using a 1/4" spacer at each bolt position will hardly be noticeable, especially if chromed. Cool looking backrest, and if you add a couple reflectors that are removeable like in the pictures, it hides most of the extra stuff you use anyway.

From the looks of the pictures, there's plenty of space above the upper mounting hole on the sissy bar. I hope my explanation was easy enough to follow re. where to drill the extra hole. Just line up the bottom hole on the sissy bar with the bottom hole in the mounting bracket and bolt it in place before marking the spot for the new top hole on the sissy bar.

No guarantees but looks like that's all it would take. Be sure to post some pictures when you're done, I like the looks of that thing.
