I'm putting together a couple of routes for a DFW Polar Bear run on Jan 1st.  One will be if it is under 50 degrees, one if it is over 50 degrees. They won't be long rides, just an opportunity to share wind.

Both will include the opportunity to either take a swim or just dip your toes in a local lake, providing we can find one that has any water in it by then.  We will also be having lunch together.  Ride to eat, eat to ride.

In case of precipitation, the ride will be cancelled.

Mark your calendars - set up your TiVo to record the football games - and come out riding with your buddies to start 2012.

I'll post the routes once I have them down and have pre-ridden both.

Assuming I have passed the national board exam by then, I plan to be on a beach in the Bahamas on the 1st.  Let's see. . . Riding with my buds or chillin in the Bahamas?  Hmmmm.  I'll get back to you on that one. Tough decision. L
