Just ran into this issue,  wasn't sure how to deal with it (The Valk won't START???  IMPOSSIBLE!!!!)  But spending a few minutes reading the various threads, a few more minutes of screwdriver turning, $1.49 worth of bulb grease, and we're good as new.  I love this site!

The next thing you need to do is what is described in the attached link. Scroll down to Start Switch Safeguard and follow the directions. If not done, you'll have the same problem pop up again in the future. This mod cuts the large amperage flowing through that switch, the cause of the failure.
