Sometimes the best rides are just two riders. Yesterday I left with just me and a buddy, no plans and gone all day. Great ride. I DO NOT buy my fuel here   He just installed his new Batwing. I must say I am impressed with these. Simple, easy installation. Real nice quick-disconnect clamps. Perfect wind protection, looks good too   Better pic...  Indian Rocks Beach rest area   Then ran into this fella with Nitrous on his VTX, good looking scoot.  And the best picture of the day...batteries died of course. Ran into a beautiful girl who is the bartender at Frenchies @ Clearwater Beach. As we walk buy to order our fried Conch (outstanding) she says "Nice Valkyries" I almost fell over. Most folks ask "is that a Harley" or some other Harley related comment. This was a fine looking long legged women. I figured she read the Valkyrie patch on my jean jacket? Then she comes over and starts talking Valkyrie talk. She new more than most men, I was dumbfounded. She finally broke and told me she was the service manager for Honda Powersports of Wesley Chappel. You meet the nicest people on a Honda GREAT DAY, GOOD PEOPLE |

Hey Doug, guess I'll mosey on over to Wesley Chapel for my next tire change.  I believe those are the same folks that used to own the dealership on the west side of Winter Garden, I haven't been back since they sold it. One of these days I'll have to hook up with you guys over there, we'll stop at my stepson's watering hole....The London Bus Pub, 5667 Seminole Blvd. He/they took it over this past May or June, spent weeks cleaning it up before opening for business. I've never been there so would love to surprise him one day. Name's Brad, if you stop there tell him "Johnny Boy" said your first beer is on me. |

It looks like a cool place from the outside, I've never been inside. I will include that on our next local ride. I am sure a good story will follow  |

I've taken a few spills lately Kyle. Broke my foot in three places, fell off the roof and busted up my knee. I'm not as agile as I used to be.  My point is, I'll be without insurance for about a month (healthcare) so I need to get all the riding I can in now. The rate I've been injuring myself, I'm gonna park it and be safe until I'm covered. I've got the next few weekends free, than it will have to wait till after the newyear. Let me know what works for you, I'll put something together. |
