That man hit the nail on the head big time. When I was teaching in Jr. High(now called Middle School for some dumb reason) in the early 70's I could tell up front who was going to be a success in life and who wasn't. For the most part, I was right on target in the years that followed. How do I know....20 yrs. later one of my students by coincidence came to work for the same department in State gov't. that I worked in. She still lived in the same 'hood and more or less updated me on her former 9th grade class of 1973.

My oldest daughter has taught in Louisiana for over 25 yrs. and tells me the same thing. She has been at it long enough in the same location that before retiring a couple yrs. ago, she was teaching second generation kids. For both of us, when we sit and compare notes it always came back to strong parenting bred strong and successful students in later life. Obviously not every child, but the majority.

He has some good points and this is a nice example, BUT his anti-2nd amendment position is too hard to overlook.  They need to keep their criminals in jail instead of the liberal Philly judges and criminal city Councilmen that put these dirtbags back on the street so they can line their pockets.... Angry

If only they would enforce the punishment and the existing laws.

There, I feel much better now.

I have been listening to his rants for about 45 min now.  Going through listening one at a time to all of his vids.  I actually think what he has to say needs to be heard by alot of young people and alot of young parents.  I also think in sticks where i live, it also fits for the other local races.

Listening to him, I know that I had much the same type of parents that my parents had.  And all and all, now that we are grown up and look back, it was good.
