 cooldude cooldude cooldude

I go to a lot of movies and if this movie isn't one for Valkyrie riders to see, I don't know what is.

It has a  Cafe Racer styled, Honda CB350, a girl with a dragon tattoo, guns, sex, mystery and intrigue.  I saw the 2009 Swedish version and today the 2011 American movie.  Rooney Mara does a great job as one of the main characters.  She took riding lessons to prepare for the movie and got a number of piercings. There were 3 bikes made for the film.

If you saw the movie and then she passed you on the street, you probably would not recognize her.

If you are a movie fan, go see this one.  You will probably like it.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

How do you think it compares to the Swedish version?  I've seen two of the three in the Swedish series and liked them both.

The music is great in this film.  The soundtrack was created by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)
and Atticus Ross who previously collaborated with Fincher for the soundtrack of The Social Network.  They got an Academy Award for that one for Best Original Score.

At first my thoughts were "why do it again".  but, it was done very well, and if you liked the swedish version, you will definitely like this one.

I've had this in my Netflix queue for a long time.  I need to get to it before they pull it off.  Watch the whole trilogy.  I've heard from many that they're all great.

Always see the movie first, or not at all. Nothing is equal to a novel.

Alot of buzz about this movie.  Definitely at tbe top of the list to see next week when we're off.  We'll probably go and see Mission Impossible too just for fun.
