I'm getting ready to remove my rear wheel, final drive, and driveshaft for cleaning and lubing. The parts fiche for the Final Drive shows item #14 (O-Ring Holder) as a seperate piece. Is this part removable? If so, how is it removed? It would make cleaning the teeth of the Final Drive, where the Drive Flange plugs in, a lot easier.

Nope.  The 'O'-ring holder is pressed in and very hard to remove from the side you can see.

Thanks for the quick answer. On another post, I saw a picture of a ST1300 Final Drive and that gave me the idea. According to the parts fiche, the ST1300 does not use that part although the ST1100 does.
