Thats why we're all here man. We can;t all help all of the time, but when we can we do. To some people a motorcycle is just a bike, but to most if not all of us here  the Valk is a way of life. Granted we may be a dysfunctional family, but in the end we're all still family thanks to the Fat Lady

Joe, I can't tell if the levers are bent or not, but I have a set of stockers for clutch and front brake I can send him.  Let me know if they are needed and PM me an address.  I'll take care if the postage.

Was there any rear end damage.  I have the front half of the rear fender he can have if needed.

It is a miracle that he is OK.  Now people are looking in their garage for front end parts to donate to him so he can get the fat girl back on the road.

Exhaust took a lick when it hit the trees but can be saved the front end " fairing " took the major damage when he hit the sign ( it was about 2 feet in the ground when he hit it, it knocked the sign post out of the ground  ).Truth be known it may have been a good thing he hit the sign and slowed it down some before it left the road  Undecided

You know this just gave me an idea. I have a few hundred dollars worth of stuff I thought about selling and cleaning the garage out, most all which has already been offered already. Now I think I'll just store it neatly. I don't know about the rest but I just have liability insurance and comp. on mine, so if I laid her down it's on me!

So with the parts I have and will be adding to, I'd like to start a "pay it forward" program. It's bad enough to tear your bike all to pieces- and parts are hard to find, but if someone got hurt and was laid up and couldn't work it could cause a financial hardship depending on their finances. I am far from being rich, just an old blue collar worker and have been there and done that when I was younger.

So what are your thoughts on this?  I know everyone is honest, but there should be proof and documentation of the wreck bc there could always be that one bad apple to ruin it for everyone else.

Let me know your thoughts.  Wink
