Does anyone here know where to get the bullet connectors for  where the taillight harness ties into the main harness. The taillight on my valk is shaved, and am working on making a new harness. Would like to do this with out hacking my stock one.

Just a note, the honda OEM are the 3.5mm bullets.  I have ordered from vintage connectors in the past with no problems.

If you are trimming down and replacing all connectors. go with the 4mm, as there are more options for y and h connectors.

If your only going to do one or two crimps, you can use the non ratcheting style pliers but I would recommend a ratcheting style.  I've done at least a hundred crimps with mine and am so glad I spent the extra money.  I have a complete 4 die set (bought off evil bay) and use it for standard terminals as well.

Easternbeaver.com also has single bullets. (ya that's the real name)

Hope this helps.  Ride safe.

Nice link. Those 3.5mm and 4mm bullet connectors look so much alike size-wise, but they don't fit each other sockets thats for sure. The bullet connector page at vintage connection is or can be hard to navigate to, anyways it's here if you want to check it out. SB2 3.5mm (20-18 AWG). SB1 4mm (18-16 AWG).

chrise2469 .... is the ratcheting plier crimper that you have the one sold at Vintage connections (below)? It seems really inexpensive compared to many other ratcheting crimpers out there. I bought a non-ratcheting crimper (bottom pic) from Eastern Beaver for $60 and I'll pay anyone an additional $60 if they want it and good riddance.

The ratcheting pliers I have are very similar,S&G Tool Aid Ratcheting Terminal Crimper Kit #18920. The dies look identical between the two. The vintage pliers look like you might get better leverage on the squeeze.  With 12 gauge wire I need two hands with mine.

The standard crimpers suck big time, we have some at work and I hate them but they fit were the ratcheting won't.

Hope this helps ya

That's why I posted it. I've used hundreds of their connectors of all types when working on other rider's bikes. And, I've used the cheaper version of the pliers from Radio Shack for quite a few years with no problem...still have my original pair, only one I use.

Thanks for all the info. Now Ill be able to build stock looking/connecting harnesses for my tiallight conversion, as well as my add on fuse block for lights, leds, horns, etc.   Now how to explain to the spousal unit that I'm spending more money on the Valk.....

Have you checked out www.posi-products.com ?  They have all types of connectors - in line, splicing, fuse blocks, water resistant, waterproof, etc.

**whoops .... the link to the Vintage connections 'bullet connectors page' that I left previously was wrong. I did copy and paste the specific URL, but what it does is that it redirects you back to the originating page.** From here .... two-step it by clicking on the 'Place an Order' link in the sidebar to navigate to the page where bullet connectors are sold separately (not part of a kit).
