I ate alot of squirrel growing up.
I much prefer deer or rabbit but squirrel does make the best gravy and dumplings that you will ever eat.

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent. But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent. Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep. In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

Only squirrels I've seen lately are stuffing their faces in the trash cans. Not opposed to try them some day, but maybe ones with a better idea of cuisine.

I only eat them from the farm, down aways surrounded by oaks. hickories and black walnuts. Away from rodentcides and other nasties. Make good mexican food ! Now is a good time to hunt them!

Old boy that taught me to move furniture and drive truck made a damn fine squirrel stew. I'd give a lot if he was around and we could go out and kill a bunch of em and make another pot of squirrel stew. R I P Ken. RIDE SAFE.

Although, I grew up in the city, once I joined the military, I was exposed to "other" foods. Squirrel, to me, tastes just like pot roast, just more bones.
