I want to know the rest of this story. Something just doesn't seem right about this.

If I were a betting man, I'd wager that meth was involved in the intruder's actions...

We need to keep up on this one. Man woman teenager whatever you break into someone elses home you best be prpared for the worst. If the home owners story is legit i hope all ends well. I say that cause i WAS NOT there and i'd prefer not to conjecture with out all the facts. RIDE SAFE.

Interesting that it appears that the fact it was a woman makes it more questionable if his actions were justified. If it had been a man that broke in and threw something at him, I wonder if things would have been treated the same way? (It should make no difference in my opinion.)

I did find it a bit disturbing to read that the homeowner was placed in police custody.

You're using masculine pronouns.  The law enforcement spokesman didn't.   Undecided

Honestly, I think it sounds a little fishy.  I too would like to hear the rest of the story.

Oklahoma Law.
You break into someones home the homeowner or renter has the right to blow you away.
Happened 2 weeks ago man broke in  woman 15 feet away from him shot him dead, law stood behind her.
You do not have to even break in, if you enter thru an unlocked door and you were not invited you can be legally  shot dead.

Really?? 'cause I have a neighbor who just comes over and walks right in and.......
