Looks like I've got trouble with the bone plate I had added to my leg just before the 2008 CBR. A screw has backed out a couple of turns so I've got to get the plate and screws removed  next month. Probably two or three weeks off work which will pretty well use up my vacation.

Including the two weeks vacation I lost when I broke the leg that will be 4 or 5 weeks vacation used up by overloading my a$$ in that right hander. I was having a real fun day till then too.

Guess the doc shoulda' used blue locktite.  tickedoff

You have to use vacation for medical issues? Is that legal? What about disability ins. through your employer?

Me too Man, that was indeed a very good time.  cooldude

If I'm real lucky I might get released to go back to work in a week but it's more likely to be at least two. The doc said it will be a bad deal if any of the screw heads are stripped.  ??? I'm hoping he was joking but I don't think he was.

As far as FMLA, I don't think my employer allows time off without using up vacation first.

Same for us at the 'View. We got to use some many pto hours, paid time off, before we can touch our FMLA.

They're stainless surgical steel. If they're stripped then a gorilla was doing your surgery. Tell him to call me if they are. I'll get them out.  cooldude
