Denise and I took off Friday morning  for a little ride. It  was my first day off in the last 13 days so we had a need for some wind. We went by her doctors office for a visit and then out to the BassPro shop for some supplies so I could shoot my new muzzleloader.
Here where it gets good. After leaving Katy we travelled to Bob's Taco Station in Rosenburg. This place was featured on Diners,Drive-in and Dives so we had to check it out. The hot tomales are the best I've ever had and that's counting some really good home made ones I'm eaten.
We grabbed a dozen to go and some beans and rice to take to my sisters house in Schulenburg. We  ran highway 36 to Sealy and then I-10 to her house.  We killed a couple of hours and after eating some more hot tomales started home about a quarter to 9. We blew straight down I-10 to the beltway and 1960 to the house. Total 335 miles and a very good time.

Great report... Tamales sound good.   I saw that episode, another place to add to the list of destinations I need to ride to...

I haven't been on the bike in a few weeks...been busy when it was warm....

A friend of mine came by on his new to him toy yesterday... a nice 98 soft tail springer...  its only an 80 in. motor...so I will have to mess with him!   The main thing is that it is what he wanted, and he wants to ride.  That makes things great in my little world...

see ya..

They make tamales at this little place I like to go in Clayton Georgia, on Fridays if I remember.

I heard people come from miles around and get bunches of them to take home, so I went there
to get some one Friday afternoon... I heard one of our presidential wannabes (forget which one)
recently was at some photo-op somewhere and ate one husk and all  2funny ...
