Why don't you look at drive like a pro golf case. It's cheaper and completely enclosed. Comes off the bike and hooks up to a vertical trailer hitch. Takes about 5 minutes to install.
Can use the hard bag for golf clubs or for other gear. I've had mine since 2001 and got about 200,000 miles on it. I use it for golf and fishing. Clubs stay clean and dry as well as secured.
May not be the prettiest but it better than a trailer. But to each their own.

I don't golf but agree with Charlie. I wouldn't want one that offset the balance of the bike like the 1st one in the link.

If it was on a Valkyrie, I'd be afraid of loosing clubs on the take-off. On a HD, no sweat, no ump in the get-a-long gear. I'd rather have Land Elephant's idea if I was a golfer. http://www.drivelikeapro.com/home.html

With either unit can you drive around the course with it like a golf cart?

Only if the Golf Course Super lets you. Used my wing one time to play 18 holes (1 at each course) on 18 courses (approximately 150 miles of riding). Only one who could pull right up to the hole, whack away, finish the hole, and head down the highway to the next course. Beat out the next participant by 35 minutes because i didn't have to load and unload the clubs. Shot a stellar 89 for par 72 course.

What do you use for brake lights? Seems the bag would cover the brake light...
What is the work around? Does the bag have an intergrated system??

I like the smaller case they have too but I agree, even the small one looks like it'd cover the brake light.

On the I/S the lights are not blocked , and didn't block the turn signals either. You might have to make a light bar that goes outside the case for a standard or tourer. I used mine on an I/S and presently on a Goldwing. No problems for me.
