The regulars are either working at trying to ge, naw we won't go there.

The rest of them came in cages, for a total of 16.

We at least got some fresh bodies at this meeting along with some old ones.

Jimmy, I mis read your post, I took it you were asking how many rode to the meeting.

The ride you are referring to was pretty awkward.

I had trouble getting my leg over the seat so as to saddle up.

I'm working on a stretching of the knee for more mobility make it go 120* instead of 90*    When I decided to Trike MGM I had about 110*, and I lost 20* setting on my butt.

Then besides that, my phoney knee has lost some of it flexibility & strength.

So, if ya get down and about, keep going to the Gym or those Professional joints & workout.

I know about knees RJ.   If it weren't for going to the fitness center, I'd have a helluva time getting my knees over the high saddle on the VStrom.

They just don't work very well any more.

So far so good, she hasn't brought out the iron skillet and put it to use,  BONG, what did you say dear?

I lied about going for a ride.  The temp is ok but it's raining.  I don't do rain any more.   Arthur Itis likes to visit especially  on rainy days Smiley

Oh well, back to exercising those knees.

Three nice warm days in a row, and three days out on both bikes.  Now all full of 92octane (cleaner), marine stabil, startron and seafoam.  I'll still be riding, but this may be the last three best days we get, for awhile.

We are currently setting on 54* .

The weather girl, says it is to get COLD this weekend.

Damn the luck no how.

Suppose I will need to turn the 2 tractors around before  too long.

Currently the grass cutter is in the front and the snow thrower is in the cubby hole.

the battleaxe 200 tire  (less than $150 ! ) and new battery arrived yesterday

The current battery is still ok I think but at close to 9 yrs .........

thought it smart to have a replacement before she quits on me far from home

The Battleaxe is going out of production so I wanted its replacement sitting in the house till I need it next spring or summer

Too cold to ride its in the mid 20's now, gonna go stretch the legs and then off for a jog for a few miles, then have breakfast

Hey Oss ole buddy.   Some questions for ya..

That battery, if it is dry, leave it that way till ya need it.

If it is wet make sure it has that 1st initial charge.   Trickle charge for about 12 hours.   Then put it on a maintainer till ya stick it on the bike.

Battleaxe tire, duh, what do you see in that particular tire?    Sad

If just for the size, why don't ya go the car tire instead?      cooldude

She is up now,  damn oldest grandson anyway.

He called cried on grandma's shoulder, and I'll be cursed if she didn't give him $500 to buy Christmas gifts.

I think I need to follow him some night when he goes to the tavern and then kick his ass all the way home.

He has taken a liking to dat stuff they call beer.

He got a DUI about 9 months ago, so he now has his Drivers License back, restricted to the hilt, but at least his mommy doesn't have to haul him wherever he wants to go.

He called me a few weeks ago, and asked if I'd come over and take him to the Tavern,  Right out and loud and clear, came HELL NO from my lips.

RJ

Havent touched the battery yet, still in the plastic wrapping. Come spring I will charge it etc

The battleaxe I got because I wasnt thrilled with the car tire   I dont like having to input a turn when the bike can just kinda fall into the turn on its own or at least thats what it feels like on the cobra and battleaxe combo

Have had metz dunlop and avon but the rear 200 battleaxe IMHO suits me best

I like the handling, I am just shy of around 9000 now on the tire and it will go 1-2000 more   I will put the new one on before heading for the VOAi ride in June

Now that I am not riding out to GOTF I can stretch the miles  : )

None of my rides is more than 200 miles around here so until I see cords showing I am just hunkydory

Still have good tread on the tire

I got the tire based on reviews from Strider and Warlock

Found a shop to do the clutch on the police bike and will bring it in this week if it ever stops raining

My gawd, I do love that BATS Cajun Brisket.  Only good brisket for miles.  These Carolina (PIEDMONT) people may can do pork, but can't smoke a brisket worth a damn.

Heard it is better around Columbia.  Gotta head that way to try some.

Drove to the motorcycle mechanic in Yonkers so he can check out the clutch, Bonnie followed in the car and we drove home
then I took her car to work and she is using mine to go downtown, easier to park the old camry than the grand caravan

Its getting even colder now   go figure this global warming stuff

Well I screwed up.   I buried both Trikes and then we get some good riding weather.

Had to go get a blood draw, then the bastards couldn't find the order, called the Dr. to have them send a new one, set on hold for 10 minutes, the is 8 minutes longer than I usually do, finally got pissed off told em to go get screwed, and I left.

Got home, and there was a nice message on my machine that said, sorry sir, we found your order, it had fell out of the folder into the bottom of the tub.  Please call and set up a time for Friday and you will not have to wait when you get here.

Wanted to call back ant tell them to stick it up their butt, but they have treated me good over the years, so I called and set up a appt. for tomorrow about noon.

Only good thing about it, was I did dig out MGM and ride it to the 1st appt.   As much work as it was getting it out and back in, I decided it will set there till spring.   On the battery maintainer.

Charles, can't you just settle down in one location?

Or are you the big honcho like my one nephew.   He draws BIG Bucks.

He works on these building cranes.    When the user has a problem that they can't fix, he goes out and fixes it fr them.

He called me at 5:00 PM wanting know if I wanted to do supper.    Told him yup.
Met him at his Motel, damn what a room he had, all that was lacking was dancing girls.    It wasn't just a room, it was an oasis, Jacuzzi, and da like.

Somehow the operator of the crane got it off track and his maintenance people couldn't get it back on the track.     He said he went up the ladder at noon, and had it fixed, with the help of the company using it, maintenance workers.    He had overloaded the crane for the height he was and it jumped the track.    I never bothered to ask how he got it back on.   Little turd probably wouldn't of told me anyway.

I love my heated grips !

I tried some after market heated grips on a BMW I had.    They shorted out on me a few times, finally sent them back.

The company accused me of tampering with them.    I said okay, take em and shove em.

About 3 weeks later a new set of grips showed up on my doorstep with a N/C in the price column.     They worked pretty good.   They were still on the bike when I sold it.      Some fool had more $$$$$ than brains and I took advantage of him.     LOL.......
