I woke her up when I came back early from Court and went into the back room to eat lunch I think she heard me drop the helmet on the floor (took the Beemer today to work but didnt want to hijack that thread) Why do these things keep happening to me? when she smiles like that I cant bring myself to fire her and all of the male clients just love her to death  what would you do? anyone with HR experience? Jess whats the law in Virginia on this I know GIG would do acoustic testing with her right Gig?  |

I don't know, I'm not licensed in VA, and don't do employment law. She is not sleeping in the picture, so the evidence is of limited value (for disciplinary action). I suggest you get her consent before a spanking. As you know, you cannot legally consent to an assault/battery, but she doesn't know that. LOL Why is she sleeping on the desk (or was it the copy machine)? Don't tell me you don't have a big couch in there somewhere.  |

I'd back off any charges, looks like she was merely doing some ergonomic stretching, we're all encouraged to briefly stretch and twist periodically at our workstations to avoid stiffness...  |

I'd let her off with a warning. Hate to have her fall off the desk or disturb a colated paper.
I think you need, as an employer, a place for her to recline during breaks and post lunch nap.

Oh by the way When I mentioned to my afternoon girl that some of you thought spanking was an appropriate discipline for falling asleep.. well she got excited how excited? you can judge yourself I wont spank her though I just cant do it So I need a volunteer Who wants to help?  |
