hallo friends,
I am a Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club (Czech Republic) member - and I would like to buy good sound system for my motorbike. I want a usb mp3 player  with an amplifier and loudspeakers so that music would sound good even when I ride fast. Do you have  some advise, photos or webpage links where I could get something. Thanks for replies to my email zdenekjadud@centrum.cz

Had the 100 watt on my Tourer and am waiting delivery on the 250 Watt for my Standard now. Should come in tomorrow. Can't beat what you get for the price.

Welcome to the VRCC! You'll find a great group of very enthusiastic and knowledgable Valkyrie owners here. Have you considered helmet speakers instead of a bike mounted amplifier and speaker system? The reason I ask is because I've found most riders have about a 0.0001% chance of others appreciating the type of music they listen to or the volume levels their systems are capable of.

Just a thought, and again welcome,

Welcome to the group all of us are hooked on motorcycles.
I'm playing an mp3 player on my 98 Tourer. Played it through headphone speakers for years. I have spliced into the CB system which gives me a thumb lever for volume control.
Last year wanting a change I added handle bar speakers and a 500 watt amp. They sound pretty good. I put the amp and mp3 player in the nose of the right saddlebag. I still use the same volume control which is needed when you slow down or stop the volume is way to loud.

Here is the CB and one speaker,

and a picture of the amp in the saddlebag

Here's the system I'm installing. I know quite a few Valkyrie owners also have this unit.
