Last evening we had some tornados do some pretty extensive damage in the Dexter/Ann Arbor area.  No deaths or major injuries according to the news.  Thank God for that.  This is an area I like to ride in as it has pretty decent roads for MI.

About 90 % of the time my TV is on the weather channel on "MUTE " . I was watching yesterday as that rolled through....We cut up that way through Ann Arbor and went by Hell on our way to InZane last year.

One of the Safety professionals that I'm working with here in Monroe girl friends' house was demolished by that tornado.  Had three sightings here in Monroe County.

That's close to where it hit.  The area around hell is pretty decent riding for MI.  Don't hold a candle to God's country where you're at though.

Yup, they do happen in Michigan occasionally but usually down in the flats around Mt Pleasant. I'm glad we've never had to use the Michigan basement under the stairs. We'd be competing with the Christmas stuff!  Shocked Roll Eyes As hard as it must be to lose one's home and personal stuff, most things can be replaced. It's the lost pictures and heirlooms that hurt the worst. Sure was glad nobody got killed or hurt too badly.

I work outside a lot and I can tell you over the last 4 or 5 years the wind patterns have changed..at least down in the lower air layers. Weather's gettin' weird all over.  Undecided
