Have been recovering nicely from the Shake and Bake a month ago.  My how time passes when you are having fun Cheesy This week I go in for a CT to set a baseline, then have a port installed.  Start Chemo next Monday for a 6 episode infusion.  Will be Alitma and Carboplaten, every 21 days.  It is a very powerful and destructive combo that requires three weeks of recovery between sessions.   Dont know what it runs now but last time the Alitma by itself was $22,000.00 each session.  Hard to believe but it is just a small bag that only takes 10 minutes to infuse.  It is worth whatever it costs though.  Last time around I was Dead Man Walking with maybe 1-2 months, and it has gave me almost 4 years of quality life.  I am very optomistic that this time will be at least as good, and hopefully better.  Anyhoo anyone that gets in dire straits can take comfort that God will never abandon you, but will give you the courage to keep up the good fight.  Keep those positive thoughts winging my way, and rest assured I am praying for all out there that are facing hard times.
