Judy and I needed a day just to get away from people, from phones, from the daily grind.  So what did we do.......went camping....Just one day and one night but it was marvelous!  Shot my fav pistol some.....had to make sure S&W actually fixed it....it got sent in for some factory work.

On the way there I asked Judy if she brought something to warm up the coffee on the fire in the morning....(we made a pot and brought it in a thermos)  Shes goes "No, thought you had that"  rugh row.........quick thinking.....I had bought some Fosters Oil cans.  Rinse one out with water, fill it with cold coffee and set it on the grill PERFECT!  Hot coffee and no ashes in it!

Just a nice day on the hunting property void of the normal problems of life!!!!!!!

Dinner on the grill BBQ chicken mmmmmmm

Great idea.

I haven't been camping in a very long time  (even thou I was sr. patrol leader of my Boy Scout troop).

Very cool.  My bride & I had good times last fall at the lake, camping and in a canoe.  Even the dog got used to the canoe.
Santa brought us a heavy-duty inflatable boat with motor and we're looking forward to trying it out soon.
Don't think I want to bring the dog into the new boat, though, at least not until I fab & install a solid floor for it.
