CASTLE HILLS (Carrollton/Lewisville Texas Area)

« on: August 16, 2008, 08:20:38 PM »

Took my Wing to Maxim today for a new shoe for the rear foot. Seemed to pick up a two horned staple nail. Plugged one for the ride to the shop. The other side was still protruding out and seemed have not penetrated the inner wall ... yet. Anyway, saw a bald headed feller, about 35, no helmet, shorts and a wife beater sitting on a black Standard, SB at the intersection of whatever is east of Preston and 121 in Frisco.

Bike was chromed and pretty nicely accessorized. Did not have a windshild, thus the fellow's only wind, debris and rock protection was his chin and sunglasses. Oh yeah, and it seemed as if he had ape-hangers for handlebars. Interesting!

Any way, if you know this rider, invite him to a VRCC function and make sure his organ donor card is filled out. We need interesting members to fill the ranks and someone to raz about his riding attire, or lack thereof. The light turned green before I could tell if'n he was wearing flip flops.

JC, I was going to ask in the "Hey, who was that" thread who was at Maxim on Saturday.  I had to swing by and saw your Valkyrie out front but didn't have the time to see who was riding it.

Anyway, saw a bald headed feller,

JC, I understand your concerns about safety, and I agree, but why did you have to point out that he was bald. Can't we just see people as people and not judge them by the amount of hair on their heads?   Cheesy
