Hmmm...guess what's hanging out in our backyard...

She was leading them around looking for a way out...I have NO idea how they got IN!?

9 ducklings and mom. I opened the gate...eventually she'll lead them out and go find her pond.

More like a "huddle" instead of a row.... LOL.      Hopefully all goes well.  I assume you live near a lake, river or some kind of water that they can get to easy enough.  Been a few news reports of late with ducks being the subject or in the story.....  tis the season.

good luck

Quack, Quack, Waddle, Waddle...

That's fantastic! Great picture there and a great story.... it's not everyday that a fella gets to save that many lives!

Yeah, they "huddled" when I came out with the camera. Prior to that she was leading them around the yard looking for a way out...all in a row.

We're a couple miles from the nearest water...and in heavily suburban neighborhood...so it's kind of unusual for us to find ducklings.

They all left (via the gate I opened) shortly after this picture.

A couple miles from water?  That seems like a long way to waddle.  Couldn't you have given them a ride on the Valk?
