especially since I moved into my apartment and I'm cooking only for myself.

!/2 pound of 80/20 fresh ground beef from the local custom meats  (they do their own slaughtering, no pink slime for them!).  No flattening with a paddle, just let it stew in its own juice.  A side order of small potatoes covered with butter, salt and pepper, wrapped in aluminum foil, all on my small Weber 150 gas grille.

Two peppers, red and yellow sweet miniatures, raw and crunchy.  A nice glass of cheap cabernet box wine and that's it.  Fresh strawberries mixed with broken up Oreo cookies and milk will be dessert.

I have no ambition to be a French cook. It works for me.  Grin

Tomorrow, maybe fancier.  Lamb chops served rare on the grille, Chinese veggies in the wok, and maybe a run to the local Zesto for some soft ice cream.

And so it goes.

Tom, I found that the George Foreman indoor grill that I bought won't sear a good steak, not enough watts. My indoor grill is a Jurishi electric. The steak has to be turned over but it has enough watts to burn the steak black, cajun style, if that's what trips your trigger.

My little Weber single burner gas grille really gets hot.  I will be using it for a tailgate party of one as it's easily transportable. Uses small and medium propane 'torch' tanks, and is easy on gas. I don't know if it will fit on the Vstroms luggage rack tho. Cheesy

Keep this crap up and you're gonna have to bring enough for everybody.

Wayne, will you please knock that sheet off.   It makes my mic dinner for tonight look like sheet.

I was going to fire up my grill tonight, but it is starting to rain again and where my grill sets, I do not dare to go inside.   It gets hot and can warp my steel siding.

Plus I hate steak cooked on the stove.    Grill or George Foreman unit only.

Cheers Old timer, it look good.   Especially those peppers, I prefer the HOT ones.
