I have family in Gig Harbor  Wa. and am planning a visit this summer. I was wondering if anyone out their can recommend a place to rent some bikes. What I had in mind was possibly riding down the coast and down the Oregon coast as well, then maybe the Columbia River gorge. We were thinking maybe 4 days of riding. Lodging suggestions, attractions, restaurants, any suggestions would be appreciated. I would ove to ride the Valk out there but unfortunately I can't take the time off needed. Shipping the bikes out there also would be an option, but I think we can probably rent some Wings mor economically. Again, any ideas?

Just three I found with Google.
Highway 101 along the Oregon coast is very scenic and has some decent twistys, but it can be tuff to take advantage of them because of all the tourist traffic. everything a bit pricey to food and lodging, but you can get lucky with the little mom and pop establishments.

Check out  highway 410 east from Gig Harbor then 12 to Lewiston Idaho and lolo pass to missoula Montana. If you head north on the 93 you can make Kalispell in two days from where you are staying. Then return across the northern part of the state on highway 2 till you get to New port, then the 20 will take you across the north cascades. good 4 day ride for me, but I don't stop much. May take some folks 5 days.
The scenery is almost as the coast, and the road is less populated.  cooldude

 Oh yea, Aero Inn
1830 US Highway 93 S, Kalispell, MT 59901
(406) 755-3798 ‎
ask for the commercial rate room. $38 a night. clean and simple breakfast in the morning.

Sounds like you will be heading west through Lolo pass. If so you can continue west on 12 till you reach Kennewick. beautiful farm country, with rolling hills and gently winding roads. (@ 60mph) You can take the 82 south to the 84 and freeway it to Portland, or jump back and forth across the river. Theres not that many places to do it but there are a few.
A point of interest for some, full size Stone Hinge. http://www.legendsofamerica.com/wa-stonehenge.html

Oss,
If it's a hot day, be careful on Chief Joseph Highway, loaded with tar snakes.  I rode it last summer. Very slippery especially on the switchbacks going up the mountain.
