Gavinsons, If we lived closer we'd be there in a heart beat! But just a bit far....

Good looking bike! What brand fairing is that?

Its the stock interstate fairing. Its an interstate with the trunk removed and windshield cut down and painted black. Id love to come to SC and ride. Was there a couple years back in sumpter and loved it. Id like to ride around and check out the plantations. Great state.

Love that cut down shield, gives her a slick look! Yes from the midlands to the coast, especially Charleston, there are some beautiful plantations.  Wink

I and the wife will be there.  This will be her first time on a bike outside of our neighborhood, on a trip, eating lunch with crazies.  Be nice.  See you all there!

Well crap guys! I'm heading to Louiseville Sat morning. Got to pick up some Makers Mark and take in a 'show'. Then heading back home the same day. Got to see some 'girls' later that night. I'll look it up on the map but maybe I'll meet up with you all down there in Indy then part ways. I'm leaving home by 0800 so it will be close to departure time by the time I get there. Let me look at a map.....

Opps I missed the Columbus part. Looks like I cant hook up there. I'll see what time I leave L-ville and may meet up somewhere around 65. I'm thinking I'm leaving around 2 for the ride home. What time you think you are leaving the lunch stop? I might call ya rainman when I do leave.

If anyone is passing through Louisville early, my neighborhood yard sale is tomorrow.  I'll have my bike parked out front cleaning it.  I don't think we're setting up too much to sell because come 10:30 kickstand's up!

Well not a bad bribe but this stuff is only availible in KY.  Wink Talked to rainman today and its a hour ride east of L-ville to the dinner. I'll call him when I'm down there. Its a slim chance that I'll make it. Depends what trouble I get into down in there.  Evil 12 yrs ago I had to hide from the cops down there.  police

Fudgie,
You look'n for Maker's 46 or Maker's White?  I can set you up with a quart of spirits that'll knock both out of the ball park.  Just let me know and I can bring it along.  You can have it for what it costs me.

Thanks to everyone that showed.  We had a great time, even it was just the four of us for a long... long ... time. Smiley Good to meet you all and glad I waited around until I did.  Here are a few pictures from the event this afternoon.

Steve here. Had a great time. Got to ride lots of roads I had never been on, got to eat some fine vittles (the fried oysters were superb), and make some new friends. Does it get any better? Thanks for allowing me to tag along. Have to do it again real soon.

Had a good time riding with everyone yesturday. Good to see everyone and meet some new people too. We got home right at 6. Reed and rainmans brother in law left me in the dust between versailles and north vernon. But to my defense i had a back seat rider complaining about running 75 down a 55 mph highway. I just told her the spedo was off and we were only going 50. She didnt buy it. So we slowed down just to keep the peace. I have to start doing more all day rides to get use to it. My ass was starting to get sore around north vernon even with my ultimate seats. The restraunt was awesome. Thanks to steve and diana for putting on a great ride, even if we did get lost.

She will change, I dont seem to go fast enough for Kit. She will spur me in the side and I know I need to kick it up a bit.  Evil
