2003 Standard Evap Canister

There appears to be a vent tube that runs from the rear of the fuel tank and terminates at the kick stand bracket on my 2003 Valk Standard (CD). There is a tee fitting in this tube and there is no tube connected to the tee off of the fitting. From what I've seen on parts diagrams there should be a tube from the tee to an evaporative canister. I don't find any disconnected tubing anywhere nearby. Unless it is well hidden, I don't see an evap canister either. I have capped off the open tee for now. Is there supposed to be a tube from the tee to an evap canister? Where did they hide the canister? Thanks for any help!

I believe that only the California Valks have the canister. That would explain why you can't find it. I also believe that the tee should remain open as it was.
Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
p.s. - we have a few riders in your area (Mentor/Perry/Akron/Youngstown/etc). Hit me up via PM if interested in hooking up for a ride... we get together pretty frequently. PM me.

Yes the "T" needs to remain open. It prevents siphoning of tank if it's overfilled. The Charcoal canisters are only on the CA emmissioned bikes.

Thank you!
I noticed some posts about people looking for red lenses for their rear turn signals. I found mine on Ebay.
