It's going tob e like wiring in an octopus  Cheesy

There's wires going to each turn signal, runnign light and brake light.

I need to be able to remove the rear fender with licence plate attached for rear wheel removal.

What kind of connector can I use that I can unplug each time I remove the fender?

I hope you get a better answer, but I know there's a whole stand of connector frobs at NAPA...
you could just pick one that you like.

I take my rear fender off to change my tires. I have to undo the tail-light connector, and it is
a lot like a Chinese puzzle...

Try your local Fastnall retail location.

I ended up uisng Posi Tap. What a gret easy way to do wiring splices (if that's the correct term).

http://www.posi-lock.com/posiplug.html

OK another question.

Using a volt meter how I do I check this thing to make sure the wiring isn't broken inside the unit?

It's a brake light flasher
