oZ......

How 'bout a shirt with big white letters that says......DOES THIS BIKE MY MY ASS LOOK BIG?  Then maybe under that....Honda Valkyrie, ride the fat lady in smaller letters.

Do one of those, and I'd buy a couple.   cooldude

I've just tried to order too. The qty. and size buttons didn't work for me on the Confderate shirts - I
tried on one of the other shirts and those buttons worked on it - am I doing something wrong? I was
going to order 1 black and 1 grey of the Confederates in Large - and maybe 1 of the other shirts.

Might be a mis-match of settings on my end - I just tried on another PC here at work and the whole
page was all jacked up. I'll have to try another one later on - I'm gonna get me 2 of those shirts one
way or another.

Sorry, I am the one that caused all the trouble with the grey button. I originally clicked on blue, then changed because of union colors. Then I clicked on red, but thought red logo might not look good on red. Did not click on black because of the Harley "uniforms" are black. So I purchased grey. I don't like grey. I got a p.m. needing to specify which color I really meant to buy. I told them black, because that artwork just plain pops on black. Now it's all good.

I have some grey pants I like to ride in, but I admit, had to swallow real hard to do what I did, just think the black makes a good background. Wife finds out she'll be on my case. Any color I get will be just fine, wish I could afford one of each. Some Harley guys are O.K. no matter what people say. (better L.O.L. here)

RJ, you nailed it! I'd put together the code for the order form, then someone would make a GREAT suggestion so I would edit the code, each new suggestion I'd edit again. Then I'd get a little pressure as to when the form would be up hell I wanted the form up, I love this friggin' shirt and can't wait until I have my order in my hot little hands.

Then I put the order up on the web, and here's my big mistake - I'd get another idea and say yea let's do that, so I would edit the code on the server, always a bad idea, and I would do it between projects at my real job where I'm working 15 hour days and in this economy happy to have the work!

And my last flaw, I was in such a hurry I did not fully test the code, meaning I should have tried every combination of ordering the shirts.

Anyway this morning the latest idea is too add more sizes up to 6XL as I've had requests. So in between my real job, my grand kids who haven't seen  my son Justin who just showed up who I haven't seen in like a month and my Honeydoos I'll code in the ability to buy upsized shirts, probably tonight at 2am.

If it sounds like I'm whining, I'm not I am as happy as a clam I dig this stuff and most importantly I really like this shirt, like I think it's going to be a classic now that I think of it, it is going to be a classic as once this Group Purchase is over that's it, it is a one run - limited addition.

It's an investment, I've seen shirts I did 10 years ago on ebay where they're listing the price way more than the owner paid for it. Let's face it, Valkyrie shirts, good shirts not Zazzle or Cafe Press stuff that's not drawn but with crappy fonts and some piece of Clip Art selling for $24 for a one sided print just don't cut it.

These Group Purchases are a way of making quality shirts, drawn to Valkyrie Riders specifications by a person that works as a graphic artist in his real job then because of the volume and our need for speed are outsourced to a professional screener who does work for Sony, Nestle and whom I've been working with for over ten years. Where are you going to get a totally professional high quality Valkyrie shirt like that now that Valkyries aren't made anymore. The Group Purchase idea is an awesome idea.

Just to put this all in context, the F6Rider Store went from many hundreds of orders a week while the Valkyrie was still being manufactured to maybe 10 to 15 average a week these days. When Karen and I told the VRCC board we were thinking about shutting down F6Rider they're point was if we didn't make shirts that would be the end of an era and all that would be left would be Zazzle, Cafe Press and some dude out there that's been stealing my ideas for 8 years who makes questionable shirts using some spray gun or something, he calls it airbrushing, I order one, it's stenciling.

Screened shirts using Plastisol are good for 40 washes before beginning to degrade, more washes if you turn them inside out and think about babying them with your settings on the washer.

Airbrushed shirts using Lord knows what ink, you'd be lucky to get a few washes out of them before the big fade begins.

Crap, I have really digressed, point is we've figured a way of making real quality shirts for the Valkyrie using the Group Purchase method. Awesome. Now if I can only get my act together this will be a good thing.

Okay that's enough fooling around they're going to fire me at my real job if I don't get some of that work done.

If you want to see what I do as a living go to http://CVHP.org or http://CVHF.org. I manage and code the websites, make the videos, build the forms for the events and do all the graphics. It's a job, as a matter of fact 12 years ago when I got interested in Valkyries the knowledge my employer sent me to school for on the internet let me be one of the first person's to put up a dedicated Valkyrie site, that became the VRCC.

Mr Prez oZ, get your act together and get on your real job.     I'd hate like hell to call you in the office now and fire ya after all these years together.

I understood every word you wrote.   As I said, I worked in that field of IT after I retired from the CHP.

I had one team of 3 people.    You code it and they could tear hell out of it in 30 seconds or less.   But when it went into production, you knew it would work and work correctly.     Paid them dearly, but I got quality work out of them.

Do I miss that old job?    Does a bear crap in the woods.    Kind of miss it, but I like the being able to sleep in whenever I want, except for days I have Dr appointments.

PS:    Take another piece of green paper out of the till, you earned it.

Hey Mr. Prez,
I think everybody interested here is just excited to get to the required minmum, don't think there is any real rush. Very commendable of you to accept & make changes for valid suggestions and requests. I don't know anyplace that does the quality, professonal work that you have done on this (I think important) project would consider doing. Thanks again. I can't believe there is only 12 orders so far, is that correct?

I find it distasteful that the VRCC is even promoting these shirt designs.

Here, up north, the general public would look upon it as distastefully as they do the 1%'s MC clubs. I even imagine some of the southern population is growing weary too.

And don't even try to edgamucate me differently.

You can ban me for life now Willow. No worries...
