I like the look of the tank bibs offered by a VRCC supporter - Talisman. Ready to order, just thought I might ask the group that may have had them for awhile - "What style did you get and how are they holding up?"
Also, based on the threads I read here and on a couple of other boards, I just placed my order for an Austone Taxi tire. Looking forward to trying out this tire. I don't recall hearing any negatives. BTW, I placed the order online at midnight last night.... I received an automated email confirmation minutes later. I received an email order acknowledgement @ 8:15am today that they received my order and it will ship today via FedEx. Talked to owner of small local cycle shop who just mounted my new Avon on the front... no problem mounting any tire I walk in with on the rear. Says he is seeing it more and more...
Ride safe.. RiderNJ

Have had my Talisman Bib for about two years... Been rained on, washed, got dusty n dirty, and still looks great The large pouch holds eye glasses case, cell phone, AND a pack of smokes! You won't be sorry Black Dog

I don't have any good pics of mine, but I love mine. I keep my oversized wallet and military id in there. The service from talisman is first rate too. I can take some up-close pics later if you need them.

I like the looks of that one, and my iron horse tank bib (non studded no longer made I think) on my I/S has 2 pouches that hold a little more and is nice to have to store stuff in like my mp3 player and garage door remote and spare change, etc. I like it a lot and wouldn't sell it for 150 bucks.

It started a make-over last fall and I'm just now getting to the point were it's almost (mostly....will it ever be? ) done. Just waiting on a couple doo-dads to get here so I can get the rear put back on (maybe by the first of next week).

Nice, wouldn't want to ride in the rain with no rear fender since rain would be up my back from the rear tire. Maybe consider tailgunner exhaust with those long exhaust, that would be awesome. Do a search engine for 'valkyrie tailgunner exhaust' on youtube and you will see them in action, pretty cool I think.
