LAWYERS???? I knew they had both lost their law license, but I didn't know why until I read this. This is legit. I checked it out myself at https://www.iardc.org Stands for Illinois Attorney Registration And Disciplinary Committee. It's the official arm of lawyer discipline in Illinois; and they are very strict and mean as hell. (Talk about irony.) Even I, at the advanced age of almost 65, maintain (at the cost of approximately $600/year) my law license that I worked so hard and long to earn. Big surprise. Unfortunately polititions are conditioned to lie.....I mean say things that are not really true....ooops, I mean twist the facts a little to meet an agenda and they are told its not a lie, and somehow they get to a point they actually believe its not wrong.
"president" Obama is the best (or worse) at this that I have seen. He can find a way to say anything he needs to and wrap it up in so much BS and twisted facts that to many people that dont hardly pay attention anyways, it sounds like the truth.

As long as the US is still more or less a democracy, I'll still come visit. As far as government health care is concerned, two weeks ago I had day surgery under general anaesthetic. No one did a credit check or asked for my Visa card, but I did show my Alberta health care card.

Curious thing about this. Gun people always make the argument that "cars can be used as weapons too, do we ban cars like some people want to ban guns?". The answer of course is; no. Banning either is asinine. The other "duh" answer is whether or not you just let ANYONE drive a car. Of course not. Driving is a serious responsibility and I think we can all relate to the terrible consequences of giving a license to someone who is not up to the task. I have never met one single person who thinks that licensing for drivers should be done away with. In fact, I've heard some freedom loving folks on this board advocate very strict penalties for texting and driving, drunk driving etc. But licensing for gun owners? Hoo boy! Don't even suggest such a thing to many of the same people who will tell you that you absolutely SHOULD need a license to drive a car. Well you can't have it both ways (though many people will try).
