Has anyone run this combination on an Interstate, the G702 on the rear and 880 in the front?  I bought the bike used and this is the setup up the previous owner had on the bike.

The G702 only has about 2,000 miles and looks good but the 880 needs to be replaced.  Would it make more sense to go with the matching G701 for the front since I'm replacing it anyway?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Stay with the 880 on the front.    I use the 880 with my Good Year Triple Tread rear tire.    880 has more area on the ground than any of the other fronts I've tried.

I'm running a 701 on my 97 tour and like it so far, I think I will run them on my Interstate when the time comes.
