You all are missing the point, it's a way to deprive legal voters of there right to vote, not to keep illegitimate individual's from voting. Not if it is done correctly. I agree, but that's the problem, it's not.

you Yup, you're correct! It would be wrong to purge those illegals and dead people from the lists. If that was REALLY the intent why not last year , or the year b4 ? Look, I will never change your mind set with regard to "politics" , what I will do is post opinions that reflect my view. Got my Val the end of July last year and just turned 10,000 miles. Valk related. http://www.truthaboutfraud.org/you need to get a new website... all your analysis and reports were writtin in 2007 and back... we have entered a new age of voter fraud as organizations like Acorn have set new standards in organized voter fraud. Prove citizenship and vote.

I have no problem with it but to me its really only one small part how about not checking ID when you vote considering it a violation of rights They haven't proved either way that this voter purge is working or not working. The other part is actual voting machines themselves can be programed to give the results you want no more paper and manual vote count that if I remember correctly is mandated by law. The last piece is vote counting is actually for some elections is not done in the US either. Another point how come illegals can vote and people worry about there rights when we have a class of citizen that the courts are stopping from voting its the convicted felons that number more than 30 million in this country. I doubt that most couldn't get back on the list if they wanted or just say I don't have any id with me illegals do it all the time I really don't get all the opposition to having to show ID when voting. Since Connecticut is my legal residence, that is where I vote, and the only place I vote! I own a permanent home in Florida as well, and pay taxes there, but legally, only vote in Connecticut. When I do vote there, the town I live in is small, less than 8,000 folk, and most everyone knows everyone else. I've lived there in the same house for 26 years, been active in the community, and consequently am known well, and know others. But... when I go in to vote, whether local elections, or State issues, or National, MAKES NO DIFFERENCE, I have to show my picture ID (Drivers License) which they (poll workers) compare to the Master List of Registered Voters. I think that this is GREAT! I can't even believe that anyone can find any fault with this policy, unless they have the idea of some shady actions, or shenanigans on their mind. ??? I am so sick and tired of always having to accommodate those, or even explain to the folks on the fringes of legality, why something that is absolutely common sense should be done. All of this cursed "Spin Crap" that accompanies everything is just so tiring. To me it's simple: if it's brown, and smells bad, I don't have to taste it to verify that it is Sh*t! Again, its not about showing ID, or illegal voters voting at all, it's about legal voters being striped of there right to vote, IN AN ELECTION YEAR! and having to fight to get back on the rolls. can you give us a link or two so we can formulate an opinion? right now all I hear is hype

I've been voting in the state of Florida for almost 40 years now and have never been stripped of my right to vote here. I do have a problem with illegal residents, unregistered residents, dead folks or any others that arn't quailified to vote doing so. My Governor does too. My question to you is, why do you, and the Department of Justice not want the State of Florida verifying the legality of those who do vote? Don't you have anything to worry about in your own state......or do you just like sticking your nose into our states business because your afraid we'll all vote R?

A Constitutional crisis could be brewing between the state of Florida and the Federal Government. On Wednesday - Florida Governor Rick Scott sent a letter to the Department of Justice informing it that the state will continue with its statewide voter purge effort, despite warning form the DOJ that the state is in violation of the Voting Rights Act and the Voter Registration Act. The Miami Herald reports that the letter "dares the Justice Department to sue Florida." Governor Scott claims the voter purge is necessary to ensure undocumented immigrants don't vote in this year's election, however all 67 country election supervisors in Florida have pledged to not comply with Governor Scott - since the purge lists his administration has compiled are riddled with errors - leading to legal citizens losing their voting rights. Keep an eye on this story. The right has been doing this for years, screaming "Voter Fraud!" but the facts aren't there to back it up. When you look at the facts, it's one side that is being targeted. But I really din't think this is a surprise to anyone here, although I'm sure the usual talking points will be regurgitated. This doesn't pertain to Florida, but in Minnesota, voter fraud may have resulted in the Election of Al Franken which tipped the balance of power in the U.S. Senate and in turn gave us Obamacare and the $850 billion bail out. Before you dismiss the problem watch the video: http://www.protectmyvote.com/?page_id=1506 He doesn't know which way these felons voted so there is no clear cut way to say that they tipped the vote. Why did he single out felons is there a problem in that state? As stated in the video, they interviewed 10 felons convicted of illegally voting and 9 had voted for Franken. Again as stated in the video, because of the small sample it is not a statistically valid study, but it certainly would suggest MN felons overwhelmingly vote Democratic (shocking I know). Remember Franken won by 300 votes and over 1000 felons were identified as illegally voting. Since progressives claim voter fraud doesn't exist, comparing the list of voters with the list of felons was an easy way to clearly identify that aspect of voter fraud. Had they tried to compare INS data regarding green cards and voter lists, they still be waiting for the data (ala Florida) and would have been called haters and racists.

By the time citizens who are legally entitled to vote find out they have been purged from the list, they will not be able to get the error corrected. That's how the the "dirty trick" is designed to work.

This same day registration and voting is a crock of $hit. Really? People are so irresponsible that they can't get registered to vote ahead of an election? In the recent Wisconsin vote, in Racine, they were allowing people to register and vote using a change of address form as proof of residency in that district. Anyone who actually believes there was no double voting and district jumping to get the incumbent Senator out of office is an idiot. The Senator was behind by 780 votes or so last I heard. So it wouldn't take that many illegal votes to skew a close election. Walker took Racine but the senator lost, sorry I'm not swallowing that. There were also vans hauling people to the polls that had "CASH MONEY" written on the windows. Yeah, nothing wrong there.
