This is a pic I almost always take at the start of trip ... it is me, or at least my shadow, headed out for another road trip.


Met up with Gary, Rosie, Steve, Diann and Reb in Lexington on Thursday


And Friday we headed to Marion, VA.


Along the way we met some more folks going to Marion and 1 couple was towing their trailer ... kinda like the plate


Saturday was the ride ....
Don giving all of us some general instruction and information to help keep us organized and safe.

Got to the first gas stop and  really filled up the parking lot




Santa was making sure everyone was on their best behaviour


Others were hanging out






But soon time to go


Eventually we got to Pocahontas and lunch

I left around 5:45am heading back home (40 miles due west of Chicago) and I took this pic as I was riding through the mountains ... was a great weekend.
