You've got to hand it to the marketing geniuses at HD. "Cool" is no longer something you can just be, It's something you can purchase from Harley for a price. You too can have your own Sons of Anarchy Limited Edition Harley. Let me mention all the games, merchandise and accessories that goes with it to make someone extra cool. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/sons-of-anarchy-harley-davidson-336486

(Total fail, but I'm sure they'll be failing all the way to the bank... The fail is really on those who buy 'em. If someone's dumb enough to buy something, ya' can't fault the company for making it for the fine Americans who'll buy 'em...)

IMO...whoever buys them will be "The" poser of all posers, and will probably get the snot kicked out of them by a real MC. The show sucks and so will the sale of the bikes...

. "The difference with Harley is that while everyone has the machinery to sell, Harley-Davidson will go further and sell you a lifestyle as well. Sanjay Tripathi, director-marketing, Harley-Davidson India, says: “We are not a motorcycle company. We are a culture on two wheels. " http://www.bsmotoring.com/news/harley-davidsons-india-strategy/3111/1Harley has always marketed cool for the un-cool. They refer to their "biker lifestyle" as its something separate from their lives. .

It's kind of like the Soprano's. A shameful little secret vice of mine. I don't approve of anything the show is based on, (gun running, murder, etc.) but I'm hooked. Eating some SamCrow

I've actually heard of people wearing the SOA T-shirts getting confronted by 1%ers and threatened with bodily harm....I imagine it might be the same with the bikes.

Well, there ya go. Accountant wear at its finest. Off the rack hard guy. I've been a 1%, meaning for two years if I was going anywhere, it was "HI HO Pan Head away". I'd hate to see some IT nerd with 50K wortha bike and gear think he was the hot snot at bike night. Heck, I got grief from a couple of dorks for bringing the Valk. Guarentee they never rode in snow. I dig the show but wont be flyin SOA or Mayan stuff any time soon. Or at all. I think the folks in Mi were giving their sick neighbor some crap
