Thinkin about buying a set. Any new view points on these shocks? We are in the big dogs class an ride 2 up most of the time. I do have a compressor, sw. & guages from when I ran some rancho shocks years ago an then used it on som monroes after that. Is there any mods to put them shocks on a IS ?

I have these on my standard and like them a lot and so does my passenger which is more important. Several people on here don't like them though. I tend to run mine rather stiffer than suggested and wouldn't go back to standard or swap for anything else.

i have the 416s and they are set at 40 psi. they give me a good all round ride and float over most potholes. they are a bolt on with no mods except the hole in the saddlebag for the valvestem. the only prob;em that i have had is the upper part of the rubber boot kept fallin off, fixed it with a zip tie

junior , does that valve stem have to fit into the saddlebag because of the way its positioned or because that is the way you prefered to mount it ? I havent seen anyone post about mounting the shocks.

I have them on my Interstate and like them. I mounted the air valve in the rear chrome tubing of the trunk mount. There is an oval port on the backside of the tubing for the antenna wires. I split a short piece vacuum line and placed it over the edge of the port and it prevents the air lines from rubbing against the chrome tubing. I drilled a hole in the middle of the tubing and stuck the air valve through. Works perfectly and looks oem.

I have my valve for top up mounted under the saddle. I made up a bracket for it and pop riveted it to the battery case. I keep a high pressure small racing pedal cycle pump under there too. I can do some photos if required.
