I'm considering getting some Mick-O-Pegs, looking to get some other rider's perspectives before I bite that bullet.  Kind of expensive in my opinion but so is eating, gas and just about everthing else.   Wink

Anyone with a bad experience with Mick-O-Pegs?  They look like a very nice product that would enhance the riding experience.  Your opinions matter.   Undecided  Well, I'd at least like to read them.  Cheesy

I really like them. Every other highway peg I have tried has helped to give my legs a stretch but put too much pressure on my tailbone. The MOPs allow my legs to extend very comfortably. They are one of the best accessories I have purchased.

One of the best upgrades you can make! I love mine makes for a very comfortable, natural riding position! Got mine at Inzane two years ago, installed on my standard. When I got my Interstate I switched them to it. I would highly recommend them.

I had one incident with them strictly my fault. When you get them, get use to them before you load up the wife, luggage and hit the twisties! I got my foot hung up in a rather bad situation and ended up in a ditch. I was trying them out and did not come off them properly, move your feet sideways to come off don't pick them up the pegs move up and will follow your foot! I had lug boots on and couldn't get off the pegs quick enough. I want to stress this was a driver error not a product defect!! But you asked so I thought I would tell you. Again I highly recommend them and will get another set one of these days for the second bike! I truly miss them when I don't have them.

Had 'em for years. Like 'em. Don't use 'em much, but on distance runs, just a few minutes makes a world of difference.

While those are really nice, they are not the Mick-O-Pegs, the MOPs are spring loaded and allow for a dropped down foot position when in use.  When not in use, they spring back up to a pre-determined position.

I bought a used set and put them on my Tourer a few years ago based on the recommendation of one of my riding buddies.  I love them so much, it was one of the first things I put on my Interstate when I got it.

I've had Mick-O-Pegs on my Goldwing for over 2 years and love them.  They really help on longer rides.  I use regular highway pegs on my Interstate for now since the Wife doesn't like riding long distance on it until I get a Russell seat.  After the new seat I will add the MOP to the Interstate and use both to have more places to stretch.

I've had them for a year and two long distance rides. They position your feet about 6" foward and 4" down. Not the gynaecological examination position.  I use them most of the time when I ride. When you have your foot on them they hang down making them scrape in hard leans. I have learned to let up one foot at a time in the turns. The way they are hinged, when they scrape, they get pushed up, seam to be safe.  They are very well made. Like them a lot.

I was mistaken as to what these were.  Embarrassed I had never seen them before.

It looks to me that if you are 5'8" or shorter, like me, there is little to be gained from installing them.

They'll still help you out plus you might have an advantage.  I can't extend my legs all the way but you might be able to.

Paxton, you're less than 5'8"?  Based on your avatar photo, I would have guessed you were taller.  Wink  Regardless, MOPs seem to provide a better foot position than typical crash bar highway pegs.  Just going by what I've read.  No actual experience here.  Though, I am considering getting a set.  Won't throw the Kuryakyn highway pegs I currently have away, just in case things don't work out.  But the MOPs do seem to provide a more comfortable leg position.

I assumed I would read some bad things about these pegs but up to this point, I haven't.  Kind of surprising, most products have some kind of issue.  Maybe someone will chime in that had some kind of spring failure, corrosion issue or something.  Just looking for all the aspects.   I'd rather know in advance.

I bought a used set of MOP's from a local dealer. They were on a Tourer. I absolutely love them. I only have a 31" inseam and the pegs attached to the engine guard are too far forward for me. The MOP's place my feet exactly where I wanted them to be.  I would certainly buy them again if need be.

All the best,

Marty, I concur with your assessment and I'd love to have them on. After all, I am a "job creator." tickedoff
Just my one wallet keeps the Bling Cottage-Industry-Jobs afloat!  Cheesy

Notwithstanding, because I am short, the ones I use provide me the same relief as described.
Although the pegs remain static at my extended leg position, they are still high enough where retraction is non-essential.  Roll Eyes

Frankly, the difference is not large enough for me to justify the expense. Shocked  I'll save the money for the six-speed mod! Cool

BTW, when I go to the gas/petrol station, I bring my plastic Milk Crate and hop on it so I can gas up while looking inside the tank!
