Our designated charity for this year at Inzane is the NW Arkansas Special Olympics (Area 2).  I had the opportunity to meet with the director (who also happens to be the police chief's wife) the other day.  She is planning on bringing some of the kids and adults out to a few of our events.

What they would like to do is make a day of it on Wednesday.  Wednesday is the day of the Joe Boyd Ride and the charity will be sponsoring a lunch for us at the Lake (our destination for the ride) that day.  We will sell tickets for the lunch at registration desk.  They would like to not only participate in the picnic, but be on site to watch the bike games and then following the picnic, come back to ground zero to hang out for the day.

Are they any members that will be attending that would be willing to give some of the folks a ride around the parking lot?  If this is something you would be willing to do, please let me know.  The director had indicated that some of these kids and adults, as well,  would be thrilled to be able to get on a bike or trike.

Some of the them may also be attending our "Early Bird cookout" on Sunday night, too.  They are planning to be around as much as they can, so please make all of them feel welcome!
