Just curios what everyone carries in their saddlebags on a normal day. I usually have a bottle of Joe's Juice, clean rags, a small first aid kit, a tire plug kit, and a couple hats in the right side. The left side contains a couple pair of gloves, the gps unit, suntan lotion, and a couple maps.

Two pair of riding glasses, gloves, plug kit, hat & dew rag. Wet microfibers in a ziplock and a couple of dry ones along with pledge. Tire gauge, flashlight, knife, zipties, rainsuit. Cargo net, a few tools, kickstand plate.
A small leather pouch with some small stones in it from many places. A very good friend of mine carried it with her most of her life. After she passed on her daughter gave it to me. I've added a few stones to it as I've traveled on the Valk. She broke an arm and leg on a motorcycle when we were teenagers and never rode after that. But, in a way she's ridden 30,000 miles or more with me now, from mountains, to glaciers to geysers.

I've been increasing the items stored in mine lately. Left bag: Tire plug kit/small compressor. jumper cables. factory toolset and el cheapo toolset in zipper case. bits of wire, have most of the different styles of terminals already crimped on, ready to go. electrical tape (long piece wrapped around the ratchet in the el cheapo tool set) / jumper wire with roach clips on the ends / multimeter. fuses, spare light bulbs. wire cutters. Bungee cords. 2 sets of rain gear (mine and hers) my winter gloves (waterproof for rain) kickstand puck rain-ex and anti-fog spare brake and clutch lever (thrown in there after the accident on Friday - the 'front' rider's bike was rideable save a broken clutch lever) red shop rags nitrile gloves Flashlight (looking to upgrade to rechargeable so I don't have to worry about batteries - any recommendations?) registration card owner's manual small roll of mechanics wire zip ties Items for future addition: first aid kit (have one in the garage, but it's 10+ years expired ) Assortment of nuts and bolts upgrades to the el-cheapo toolkit (throw away the cheap tools, replace them with requisite sized Craftsman (or comparable brand) tools) Right bag: Nothing constant. Trunk: Clear/shaded riding glasses. GPS when not in use sunblock hat for controlling helmet head when stopped.

Just found something new in my right bag - a crack! It's at the bottom, so grinding it out and repairing it with ABS Cement won't be noticeable, but damn, I wonder how that got there??
