just was looking at a black interstate that claimed to have only 70+ 000 miles it looked pretty rough to me well my question is after 100,000 miles does the guage show the mileage or does it show 00 miles like a standard.   mine has over 155,000 and it not as rough,, i mean the forks look like the bike went through a war.  just put on front rotors at 70,000 miles ok i think but i still have original rotors at 150,000 miles.
it has been on my mind i was looking for a new bike but decided to try to see the bike before i bid on one.

I believe the Interstate is digital and reflects 6 digits and therefore would show the true mileage. Of course this doesn't stop someone from changing the gauge to show less mileage as they can be purchased from wrecked bikes. If it's that rough keep looking as there are just too many out there for sale right now.
